Farmers’ Corner is fully owned, managed and controlled by Farmer’s Corner and Agro Allied Limited. Goals At Farmer’s Corner, we plan to: • Improve connectivity and synergy among all agribusiness operators in Nigeria and Africa. • Increase production and sales of agricultural products. • Grow Africa staple crops and rear livestock for industries, local and international markets. • Rear bees and manage for commercial production of honey and other beehive products. • Produce young species of plants and animals that are economically feasible as well as utilizing sustainable agriculture and best management practices. • Organize world-class programmes not limited to training, exhibitions, symposiums, agripreneurship hangouts and others. Farmers’ Corner Platform: Platform(web and mobile app) in form of a communication system(information-driven community) in which there will be a forum with categories of crops, livestock, modern techniques, methods, technologies, science and others allowing users to communicate farm problems through pictures and text explaining the scenarios. Experts, experienced farmers, service extensionists and scientists contribute through their experience and expertise to resolve farm problems on the platform within a short period of time irrespective of individuals’ locations. Through the system, we are connecting all agribusiness operators together in Nigeria and Africa. At the end of every production season, farm operators/producers are expected to have better yield of their production and upload farm produce on marketplace(farmers market online) for potential buyers(local and international) to communicate with them for better deals.
