Farmers Livelihood Support

Farmers Livelihood Support is an agricultural services organisation that helps Ghanaian smallholder farmers create resilient communities. We invest in smallholder farmers to yields and make much income. We believe that, if poverty is part of the problem, then education is part of the solution. We have worked with 412 smallholder farmers on ginger and sweet potato, and creating access to immediate buyers to improve their livelihood. A good quality and improved varieties and appropriate agricultural tool are the simplest solutions for achieving high yields for farmers. FLS volunteer field extension officers provides technical agronomic training to smallholder farmers in various communities as groups. Training offers includes pest and diseases management, land preparation, planting technique, weeding, harvesting, post harvesting, processing, value addition, composting and tree planting. Our training focused on soil health and climate smart technique. We put individual smallholder farmers into Cooperative and Executive Structure Approach. Our work focus on 1.
