We provide solutions for agriculture based on optical sensor technology. Founded in 2013, we recognized an increasing demand for intelligent systems for sustainable growth of farms and launched our first product, a system for the assessment of cows for dairy production. We are meeting the demand created by the continued growth of the average farm, powered by a competitive marketplace, the need for cost-effectiveness and the rise of precision agriculture. Our mission is to provide solutions to increase farmer’s profitability, through quicker decisions and cost-effective prevention, a better working environment for each farmer, increased animal welfare and increased crop yield. We are a part of the Optical Metrology Nordic, a company group focused on developing companies that provide solutions for automation and robotics though the use of optical components. Based in Skellefteå and Stockholm, Sweden, our companies employ around 100 people. Optical Metrology Nordic consists of Optronic, Fotonic and Farmic.
