Logistics is about moving freight from one location to another in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. On a daily basis as the owner, my responsibilities include managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organization. This includes managing budgets, organising schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, keeping and gaining connections within the industry of shippers and brokers, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties. Currently, we have a team of dispatchers to find loads to haul, safety team to make sure that our drivers are safe and legal on the road, and accounting team to help pay our staff accordingly. We are looking to expand and offer transportation needs to as many clients as we can.
