Fasting5k

Fasting5K is an annual 5K event focused on fundraising for charities working on children’s development across the U.S. and abroad. Started in 2013 in just two cities and raising $30k in our first year, Fasting5K has expanded to seven cities across the U.S and most recently raised $140k in 2016! Fasting5K takes place every year during Ramadan, a month of fasting, reflection and personal development for Muslims across the globe. It's emphasis on family, friends, community and charitable giving continues to inspire our mission of empowering the youth in service of their communities.
