Fat Cat Jazz Club
The Fat Cat is an intimate, underground jazz club located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar where audiences can hear live jazz by local and visiting talent, enjoy a drink from the bar and food from one of the city's finest restaurants, Veranda, located right upstairs. The first conversation of opening a jazz club happened in April of 2018 between the Jazz Train trumpet player, Khongor, and Dulguun Bayasgalan, a.k.a. Magnolian. Soon after, in just 4 months of crowdfunding and preparations, the Fat Cat Jazz Club opened with the support of our amazing 43 patrons. The Fat Cat is a special club, because it’s built by a community of cool cats who came together and dared to believe in us and in the idea that you can create the spaces you want to inhabit.
