Feix & Merlin is a queer-led, award-winning architecture practice based in the Bussey Building in Peckham, South London. Co-founded by Julia Feix and Tarek Merlin in 2006, the studio works with clients who share their values, celebrating diversity, inclusivity and social purpose. Feix & Merlin believe that every project, whatever its scale, has the power to make a difference and deliver lasting value. With a portfolio spanning housing, heritage, education and cultural projects, Feix & Merlin combine design excellence with commercial insight to unlock potential and create lasting impact. Their clients include world-class institutions such as the London School of Economics and Political Science, and visionary developers including General Projects. Their work ranges from complex multi-million-pound developments to community-driven transformations, including the refurbishment of the Grade II-listed Walworth Town Hall, winner of Best Adaptive Reuse at the Architect’s Journal Retrofit and Reuse Awards 2025 and winner of the Heritage and Conservation category at the NLA Awards 2025.
