Felipe Ades Md Phd

I am a medical oncologist with experience in clinical and translational research and in the field of public health and public policy. I am currently working as Medical Oncologist at the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. I have board certified medical training in internal medicine and clinical oncology. I acquired Master Degree in melanoma translational research (high throughput experiments, cell cultures, mechanisms of resistance to target therapies) and PhD degree in medical oncology in studies of public health and public policy (discrepancies in cancer care, uptake of health innovation and analysis of hurdles in drug access). I have also experience in clinical research (medical adviser for phase trials in breast cancer, protocol development and drafting, study follow-up, SAE and data monitoring). My clinical activity is on general oncology. I aim to build research strategies in oncology tailored for needs of developing countries (improve health system access, create research capacity, reduce disparities, develop affordable treatments schedules).
