Feminno Global

FEMINNO is a global platform dedicated to empowering women and girls in STEM through education, innovation, and leadership. Founded in Armenia and now expanding internationally, FEMINNO works at the intersection of gender equity and technological advancement, offering opportunities for learning, mentorship, visibility, and community-building. Our mission is to elevate the role of women in the innovation ecosystem by breaking down access barriers, nurturing talent from early education to career advancement, and positioning Armenia as a hub for female-led innovation. We believe that sustainable progress in science and technology is only possible through inclusive participation. Since 2022, FEMINNO has implemented a wide range of initiatives—from large-scale conferences to targeted educational programs and scholarships. The FEMINNO Conference is now the largest female innovation event in the South Caucasus, bringing together global thought leaders, students, researchers, and policymakers. The STEM Acceleration Award program started in 2024, and is now an annual program equipping over 200 Armenian schoolgirls with mentorship, training, and the opportunity to develop real-world STEM projects. Meanwhile, the Sona Mnatsakanyan Scholarship program supports high-potential Armenian girls in pursuing world-class STEM education abroad. FEMINNO is also an incubator of mentorship and peer networks, bridging local and diaspora communities to support a new generation of STEM leaders. With chapters launched in Yerevan and Los Angeles, and more on the horizon, FEMINNO is shaping a global movement. Our work is rooted in inclusion, excellence, and the belief that empowered girls create empowered futures. We build an ecosystem, not just events, where innovation, equity, and leadership thrive together.
