FEMit AB is a new company oriented towards modern product development. We use computation, simulation, optimization and applied mathematics to help customers with reducing lead times and costly cycles. This approach provides a powerful competitive advantage and will be emphasized more and more as a requirement in future product development projects for the customer to remain a competitive player in its market. Our employees have a background in engineering and modern computational techniques with the finite element method (FEM)- master's degrees and PhD. The high level of education is a clear advantage when it comes to making correct models of reality and to properly assess the results we compute. Our combined experience spans back to the 1970s with a wide range of industrial applications with FEM and applied mathematics. We are strong within many fields of analysis, such as static and dynamic solid mechanics, heat problems and CFD. We are used to identifying and modeling coupled problems from several areas, so called multiphysics. Such analysis has been made possible only recently with the most modern computational software. As almost all of the analysis starts with a geometry model, we also have a natural and very extensive experience of CAD, such as Catia V5 and SolidWorks.
