Fermata Chamber Soloists

Founded in late 2017 by Thomas Cooper and Nicholas Stewart, Fermata is a Boston-based, nonprofit concertizing organization that exists change the polarizing culture of classical music by reinventing the live concert. We center our programming around the chamber music repertoire, drawing on a pool of young artists of the highest caliber graduating from top music schools such as New England Conservatory, the Juilliard School, Oberlin Conservatory, the Curtis Institute of Music, and the Eastman School of Music. By presenting experiential, community-oriented events that focus on re-defining what classical music can be, while still retaining the highest level of artistry, our concerts are unique, fun, intense and informal.
