At fertilizer, our immediate goal is to bring together emerging black creatives who specialize in sustainable fashion and design practices, while also being inspired and creating from their diverse lived experiences. Fertilizer is a call to action for black excellence, with a focus on storytelling and celebrating the extraordinary within everyday life. We aim to develop original and unique ways for black creatives to share their stories through a variety of mediums like art, design, fashion, music, and video. Through collaboration, we strive to recount narratives that provoke and inspire our audience to think and move through this world differently. We believe that black creativity, at its core, needs to be supportive and collaborative in order to survive.
