FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation, is a business network of real estate professionals worldwide. FIABCI provides access and opportunity for real estate professionals interested in gaining knowledge, sharing information and conducting international business with each other. With members in 65 countries, including 100 Professional Associations, 65 Academic Institutions and individual members from all professions of the real estate sector, FIABCI is the most representative organisation of the real estate industry in the world and holds special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. FIABCI Netherlands is the Dutch chapter of FIABCI and consists of brokers/agents, appraisers, real estate managers, investors, lawyers, tax advisors, notary’s, architects, project developers, consultants, insurers, urban planners, but also academic institutions. The four World Councils (Managers, Brokers, Developers & Investors and Experts) represent all types of properties, commercial and residential to rural and leisure real estate, and and all real estate disciplines. Worldwide FIABCI represents real estate professionals in the regions Africa, North and South America, Asia Pacific and Europe.
