Fiddle & Dance Camps

JAY UNGAR & MOLLY MASON'S ASHOKAN MUSIC & DANCE CAMPS have been held each year since 1980 at the Ashokan Center, a 385 acre nature preserve and environmental education center in New York's Catskill Mountains. These camps are meeting ground, where people of all ages learn new skills, make new friends and share good times in a secluded woodland setting. EACH WEEK offers classes and workshops in dance, instrumental music and singing for a wide variety of experience levels, as well as jam sessions, evening dance parties, singing sessions and much more. Attendees can create their own daily schedule focusing on their personal interests in music, dance or both. Attendees are welcome to take part in all classes and workshops appropriate to their skill levels, or audit classes that they'd just like to observe.
