Fides - Accelerating Digital Trust

FIDES is an international movement dedicated to continuously improving digital trust on the internet. Supported by a non-profit foundation, FIDES brings together public and private organizations to co-create, experiment, and adopt trusted digital identities, verifiable credentials, and trust frameworks across Europe. As an open collaboration platform, FIDES enables participants to align around shared principles — the FIDES Manifesto — and to jointly accelerate innovation through community-driven initiatives and shared infrastructure. To make digital trust understandable, testable, and adoptable, FIDES develops and maintains a set of community tools: the Credential Catalog, Blue Pages, and the Open Testbed. These tools help organizations issue, verify, and interoperate with credentials and wallets, and make the growing digital trust ecosystem transparent and accessible to all. Anyone can engage with FIDES by ratifying the Manifesto, becoming a Supporter or Sponsor, and participating in community tracks and working groups.
