Field & Tung Structural Engineers is an engineering team which solves structural challenges for clients. Our consulting engineering services include the design of: o New buildings and other structures o Additions to existing buildings o Secondary structural systems o Site structures o Restoration and remedial structural work With our years of experience, one of our strengths is in assessments and investigations of existing buildings and structures to understand and solve problems of structural distress. We work for architects, building owners, contractors, and property managers. We enjoy working as part of a design team as a subconsultant to architects in larger design efforts. We work on both public sector and privately owned projects in the DC metropolitan region. Specialties include an understanding of historic and archaic structural systems and modern building framing systems.
