Aloha, Fiesta Lovers! I’d like to share a few details about myself with you to give you an understanding of my relationship with Fiestaware and my love of helping others collect and learn more about it. For as long as I can remember, my family has always used to be elsewhere in their day-to-day lives. It wasn’t until Covid appeared and quarantine began that I really started to learn just how much information there is and how much history there is to the Homer Laughlin China Company. And I will tell you, I never expected to know this much about dishes, especially the most popular dishes in America that have been around since 1936. But I am a wealth of knowledge, and I love it when people contact me with questions even if they’re simply looking for the value of a piece they have or want, I get really excited to help & share my knowledge and expertise. It didn’t take me long to learn the basics, but there is so much depth to fiesta dinnerware, and I’ve considered writing a book or at least creating a website dedicated to educating people on this incredible line. What I love most about fiesta is that it was created after the great depression as a means of bringing color and happiness back into peoples homes. They started out with six colors, five of which were bright and colorful. I am definitely a sucker for vintage pieces, which were produced between 1936 and 1972. But I sell pieces from all periods, including vintage, and post-1986 pieces in retired and current styles & colors. I have my own Fiestaware that I use every day, as well as several vintage pieces that I absolutely love, but more than anything I love finding new pieces and sharing them with others. I have incredible relationships with all of my customers who come to me anytime they need to complete or enhance their collections.
