Fight For Zero

We help young people to realise their potential in communities affected by crime, violence and social exclusion <<. Fight for Zero works with early intervention within sport, education and personal development - to eventually achieve strengthened protective factors, improved physical and mental health, reduce exclusion and a reduction in tendencies towards crime and violence among children and young people. Our goal is to inspire and promote the potential of young people and to reduce and counteract exclusion in societies that have been or are at risk of being affected by crime, violence and exclusion. Our overall purpose is to reduce and counteract the serious violence and new recruitment to gang and network environments. We do this by strengthening young people's protective factors, investing in young people's personal development, creating new opportunities and supporting them to get the most out of existing opportunities. We make this possible by working with education, work integration and young leadership in combination with boxing, personal development and social support. We work according to the established, evidence-based and holistic method "Five Pillars", which contributes to social sustainability. The method is based on a public health model that focuses on three levels of preventive anti-violence work! Projects, programs and activities are needs-driven and are based on the target group's risk levels of crime and violence. Our focus is on "what you want and who you are now", not on "who you have been and what you have done before". For this reason, our work with children and young people offers more than just the opportunity to practice boxing, but also a means of personal development, an alternative to exclusion and an opportunity for a better future. We are proud to work with young people to promote their potential, create social change and work towards a Zero vision.
