Fighting Chance Solutions

Fighting Chance Solutions (FCS), now located in Historic Downtown Muscatine, Iowa, was formed to help protect students and teachers during an active shooter or violent intruder scenario on school campuses. FCS was formally organized in the fall of 2013 when fellow educators Edwin Colon, Mike Morgan, John Lawrence, and Jame Hayes joined Daniel Nietzel, Founder, and fabricator Carl Negus to develop “The Sleeve”. This device protects students and teachers by securing the door closer arm found on most classroom doors, allowing the classrooms to be secured from the inside.
