Our Mission We at FILAM TV have a vision: To use cutting edge technologies and new media to create a platform on which Filipino Americans and the Filipino culture and heritage can Shine! It's time. We have a mandate to give the Filipino community a voice, and it we take to heart. We want to shine the spotlight on Filipino arts, culture, arts, values, tradition, and faith. We are proud of the Filipino culture and celebrate our Bi-culturalism as Filipino Americans. We want to serve our community through a unique community access program, speaking to and engaging as citizens of our local community, the United States and as citizens still of the homeland, the Philippines. We aim to help give birth to local industries and careers in Filipino American music, filmed entertainment and theater that's created by Filipino Americans for the world to appreciate. We are passionate about our home country and our people, and are compelled to ignite awareness and action to the benefit of the most needful initiatives for change and compassion. We recognize we are live in the land of opportunity. We want help provide opportunities, ignite vision, and help a few dreams come! Finally, we want to entertain, inform, educate, communicate, collaborate and grow with our viewers!
