Filmbazar is an independent distribution company specialising in acquiring, releasing and promoting the world's best in contemporary films and documentaries. Filmbazar aims to give audiences exceptional film experiences through its specially curated film programs and events. Founded in 2013 by Trine Hauerslev, Filmbazar’s catalog focuses on heartfelt and thought provoking topics such as love, climate, wellbeing, women’s rights and gender equality. Filmbazar showcases expressive and impactful films that manifest the forward-thinking values and vision of its directors and actors. Filmbazar has released multiple Academy Award-winning films, including Shoplifters, Les Miserables, and Saint Laurent.
