We’re a record label, booking agency, and publishing company, management agency and digital distributor. We bundle these areas of expertise and offer creatives a comprehensive toolbox of services both nationally and internationally. Our focus is on building up musicians in Germany and Europe, and then using this history to help them get a record deal in the US and finally an international breakthrough. The company, newly founded in 2016 in Berlin, consists of the former founders of the Lichtdicht Records indie label, operating since 2012 (Milky Chance, James Hersey…), Lichtdicht Booking (also Milky Chance) and digital distributor recordJet, founded in 2008. The long collaboration between these companies finally and unavoidably lead to the founding of Filter Music Group under one roof. Because „together we are strong“. This is not only true in real life but also in the music business and the constantly changing, developing, and very complex media world. Based on their long expertise and networking, Filter Music Group is able to consult music makers on all levels in today’s increasingly complex music market, and offer them solutions and the right way for his long term artist growing. The most important aspect: finding the best solution for each artist and giving them the chance to co-design it actively and flexibly. This way, each artist can decide for themselves which of the service offers they want to make use of.
