Finansforeningen Uio
Finansforeningen UiO was founded in 2017 and aims to create interest in and teach students at UiO about various aspects of finance. This is mainly done through regular discussion meetings and lectures. We will also be a hub for students with higher expertise in finance to ensure further learning and have a platform to meet like-minded people and develop themselves. In addition, we attend Skoleduellen by Nordnet. In the School Duel (Skoleduellen), we challenge Nordnet's analysts and 13 finance groups from various universities and colleges in Norway to achieve the highest returns. Each school gets NOK to trade for and the winner is the group with the highest return at the end of the competition. The school duel lasts one school year (September-June).
