FindYourMosque.com is an online community with a multipurpose task to serve the Muslim community by taking the words of God Almighty, “Hold on firmly together to the rope of God, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember the favours God bestowed on you when you were one another's foe and He reconciled your hearts, and you turned into brethren through His grace. You had stood on the edge of a pit of fire and He saved you from it, thus revealing to you His clear signs that you may find the right way perchance,” for the sake of unity and solidarity (The Holy Quran 3:103). Unity among Muslims has always been the priority of our leaders throughout history, and nowadays it is not only necessary for the community, but it is an individual obligation and responsibility to practice it, nurture it, and grow it, inshAllah. We believe mosques aren’t only holy places to pray in, but a great environment to practice unity, love and compassion. As our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: «أَحَبُ‏ الْبِلَادِ إِلَى‏ اللَّهِ‏ مَسَاجِدُهَا», “the most favorable place among Allah Almighty in cities are the mosques.” As Muslims we came to pay our duty by creating an online network to connect all the mosques in North America to one another and may this result in building a close relationship among the mosques and the people. Our mission is to inspire and to encourage all Muslims to take that one step and hold on firmly together to the rope of God and never feel division, and always be one and united.
