Fine Food Store

Why did we start this business? For years we would travel and on every trip we would return with our baggage full of ingredients from our destination, memories of the food we had tasted and ideas for how we could incorporate the flavors into new recipes using these ingredients at home. We would prepare foods with the flavors we had enjoyed while we traveled, and share these meals with our friends. They, in turn, would ask us to bring home ingredients from our next trip, so they too could enjoy these new flavors and experiment with new tastes. Eventually we decided to import the products we enjoyed the most. And so our business was started… How did we choose our products? During our travels we try a restaurant owned by a well-known chef. But most often we find that we prefer the food created in family owned establishments and by the local street vendors. We enjoy the new flavors and combinations we experience and the people who share a passion for food with us. We ask about local sources of products and ingredients. What makes something the best? And where the best is found? Our curiosity and interest in learning about the artisanal process and understanding the culture from which it cames have allowed us access to some very special and limited products.We hope that our experience and love of food, flavors and experiencing the tastes of other cultures will encourage you to try some of the products we have selected.
