Fipol has decided to take a leading role in marine industry with one major goal; create standards. Since the end of 2007, as Fipol marine department we’ve been giving our all knowledge of GRP, all know-how in latest production methods and all energy, to manufacture the ideal motor boat range for those who dreams a new taste of life style. After a very well organized and effective market research progress, regarding to respond the most important question in boat building business which is of course - what to build; we as Fipol Marine has reached a decision to start our production with a boat that’s believed to be a dazzling model of her kind, a Downeast Cruiser. Downeast Cruiser boats, in general, are sea-kindly and safe in all kinds of weather. Stability is inherent in a design that includes a skeg to protect the underbody, propeller, steering gear, and drive train. It's simply a very comfortable ride. When fishermen began switching from sail to power, the Downeast hull configuration evolved from a true displacement hull to a longer, wider, semi-displacement hull. Downeast Cruiser style boats have been produced by a limited number of boat builders for nearly more than a century, by using various building methods but with may be the only common feeling, passion for sea. LARUS is the line name of our project. Because of the location of our factory site, the sun shine city Antalya, and of course the magnificent nature around this beautiful city, we had our inspiration from this region. Mediterranean Sea Gull is a one of the unique seabirds of the region and belong the family of gulls which means LARUS in Latin Language.
