Welcome to the LinkedIn page of FIPRESCI – The International Federation of Film Critics. Our members are film critics, worldwide, in over 50 countries. They cover the world of cinema for their publications, taking in films at 80 international festivals and serving on juries to award the best films they've seen. We organize conferences and seminars, co-operate with the European Film Academy ("Discovery Award") and present our own "Best Film of the Year". We're also involved in initiatives to train young critics ("Berlinale Talents"). We support cinema as an art and as an outstanding and autonomous means of expression.
