Firasa Advisory

Few can remember a time when the Muslim world wasn't in turmoil. The causes are several and intertwined: colonialism, civil strife, ill-fated modernist and fundamentalist movements, poverty, brain drain, and continued invasion. But curiously, despite all of the aforementioned, Muslim societies have retained a distinctive—some may even say exceptional—spiritual culture. Rather than see this non-secularity as a curiosity to be worked around, Firasa sees it as an asset to be worked with. And the time couldn't be better: large swaths of humanity are seeking a way back to God and Truth as the post-WW2 "rules-based order" continues to collapse. At the same time, Muslims are desperately seeking new post-Islamist models of development. Given this state of affairs, we believe that what's needed is piercing spiritual insight, known as firasa in Arabic. Firasa sees what other advisory firms miss.
