Fire & Light Productions

The mission of Fire & Light is one we wholeheartedly believe in: to create God-honoring theatre experiences that engage, educate and inspire young people and our community. We started Fire & Light in 2010 as a small skit group. We had no costumes, lights, sound or sets. The kids, however, quickly communicated they wanted more, and so over the years we expanded, rapidly. Fire & Light is now a troupe of about 120 youth, ages 8-18. We offer a nurturing, educational environment where kids can learn all aspects of theatre arts from seasoned thespians - in set painting and construction, sound and light facilitation, music interpretation, vocals, stage movement, characterization, direction and leadership skills. We have found that an accepting, creative environment that offers unconditional love is metamorphic. Over and over, we see shy, unsure kids gain confidence through working with others, gaining skills, and learning to give their all at every rehearsal and performance. We graduate leaders.
