Fire Xscape offers a subscription service that promotes smoke and carbon monoxide alarm use and regular maintenance. What we provide- Batteries arrive in you mailbox once per year- Follow-up reminders to replace your batteries- Monthly reminders to test your smoke and CO alarms- Reminders when your registered devices need to be replaced- Monthly seasonal fire safety tips- Subscriptions renew automatically- Fundraising opportunities for fire departments. Why we do this- More people are killed by residential fires than all natural disasters combined each year in the U.S- Nearly 2/3 of home fire deaths are in homes without working smoke alarms- Roughly 3/4 of smoke alarm failures are due to a dead or missing battery- Studies show that 96% of U.S. homes have at least one smoke alarm yet 30% of them do not work due to dead or missing batteries- We are an apathetic society. Smoke alarms are out of sight and out of mind- WORKING smoke and carbon monoxide alarms save lives!
