First Home Realty Solutions (FHRS) is a construction and development company focused on affordable housing projects in India, Sri Lanka and Africa. FHRS is vertically integrated and develops township projects close to zones of economic activity. The projects are spread across multiple geographies and integrate state of the art construction technologies and best practices. FHRS was founded in 2009 as a collaboration between industry experience and research at the Indian School of Business. It has active academic collaborations with the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and the Rand Corporation, US – a leading international think tank. Multiple reports funded by the Rockefeller Foundation based on FHRS projects have been published by the ISB and RAND. FHRS has been a leader in incorporating best construction practices to bring costs down and to achieve better quality control – from the first project onwards green and efficient materials such as fly ash concrete blocks, rain water harvesting and smart design have been incorporated in all FHRS related projects.
