First Position

A coach is a person who invests in and interacts with an individual or team for the primary purpose of stimulating, motivating and facilitating the growth, development and performance of that individual or team."First Position" comes from two of my passions in my life to date. Ballet which I did from the age of 2 to 18yrs, and elite sport which I worked in for c.10 years of my career. In Ballet you start with first position to centre you and ground you for more complicated and elegant moves to come from it. First position is getting the basics right. In elite sport you aim to be in first position on the podium, by being world-class at what you do. I hope to help people to get the basics right to be their best.
