First Robotics Team 2404

FIRST Robotics team 2404 was founded in 2008 to support a group of John Muir high school students that believed in themselves when others didn't. Living in the shadows and Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Cal tech these students rarely dreamed of becoming scientists and engineers but John Smith president and founder of Neighbors Empowering Youth (NEY) believed differently and Team NEY Techs (TNT) was born. That year we won the Los Angeles regional rookie inspiration award and in 2019 we made it to the Los Angeles north regional finals. Throughout the years we have grown with dedicated students and mentors from the community and plenty of our students have entered college and become productive members of the community. JPL is one of our big sponsors. Our FRC team is actively recruiting students and mentors and we welcome any Middle or High school student in the San Gabriel Valley to join our team it's free there is currently $80 million worth of college scholarships available to qualifying team members.
