First Technology China Limited FTCL was formally set up by the PCBA (pcb assembly) and SMC (semiconductor) business units of Schmidt Electronics Group Limited. Schmidt Group has over 100 years of working history in China and has been doing business in electronic assembly industry in China for over 20 years. On 7 April 2006, FTCL spun off as an independent company. The principle business of FTCL did not change and focus on the technical and sourcing businesses relating to high-end PCBA and Semiconductor industry In January 2007, First Technology China Limited was 100% acquired by Sojitz Corporation. Sojitz Corporation is one of the Japan Top 5 sogo shosha (general trading company). Sojitz Corporation has over employees worldwide and a net sale of approximately US$48 billion in 2011. FTCL company mission is to become a leading company providing innovative process and manufacturing solutions to fulfill the need of continuous improvement and cost efficiency in the electronic assembly and semiconductor industry
