Our state of the art mobile performance lab has the ability to carry the following tests: 1: Resting Metabolic Rate - The Resting Metabolic Rate test (RMR) determines the amount of energy (calories) your body is using at rest. This measurement is made by analyzing the amount of oxygen your body uses and the amount of carbon dioxide your body produces. The results of our Resting Metabolic Rate test can tell you if you have an increased or decreased metabolism, and if your body primarily uses fats or carbohydrates for energy. This information can be used to determine the amount of calories you need to eat each day to maintain or lose weight. 2: vo2 Max - vo2 max, or maximal oxygen consumption, refers to the maximum amount of oxygen that an individual can utilize during intense or maximal exercise. This measurement is generally considered the best indicator of cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance. The more oxygen a person can use during high level exercise, the more energy a person can produce. This test is the gold standard for determining cardio respiratory fitness because the muscles need oxygen for prolonged aerobic) exercise, and the heart must pump adequate amounts of blood through the circulation to meet the demands of aerobic exercise. 3:Hydrostatic Fat Testing - Hydrostatic body fat testing, or underwater weighing, is the immersion of the body in water to get the most precise measurement of body fat percentage.
