Fit U Life

FIT U is a physician recommended and monitored way to reduce health risks associated with being overweight. Founded in 2011, Fit U administers an intensive, multicomponent behavioral health intervention in partnership with our growing network of physicians. We teach patients how to incorporate changes into their daily lives that bring about sustainable health improvement. Our certified health coaches and registered dietitians act as liaison and support for the physician, staff and patient. We do what physicians don't currently have the time, training or business model for. Physicians are accustomed to treating a patient’s pre-chronic and chronic disease such as high blood pressure, type-2 diabetes, and high cholesterol - not the root cause of the problem itself. In many cases these chronic outcomes can be attributed to being sedentary or making poor nutritional choices. Fit U gives physicians the ability to offer a corrective course of action to patients that can prevent, eliminate or greatly reduce and improve the symptoms they are used to treating.
