FitwithNit started with a dream of creating a global fitness community that would help immigrants create a healthy lifestyle and build confidence. Nita came to NZ in 2011, like any other immigrant, the stress of performing well in academics, finding the right job and juggling with multiple things took a toll on her health and she ended up with depression and obesity. Suggested by her doctors, Nita started her fitness journey. Learning from her own experiences, Nita realised this is the story of every other immigrant where in the daily hustle, the majority of the immigrants ignore their health and end up with mental/physical problems. Nita made it a goal to change that for better. Today, the reason FitwithNit business exists because people relate to the story of Nita's struggle and the message that she puts out online i.e making health a priority and fitness a lifestyle.
