FitzGerald Ecology provides botanical and ecological consultancy services for a range of clients and project types across the Republic of Ireland. Our speciality includes extensive expertise in vascular (terrestrial and aquatic) plant, bryophyte and charophyte identification and habitat surveying, including Irish Heritage Council classification (Fossitt, Annex I habitat classification, Irish Vegetation Classification (IVC), National Parks and Wildlife Service ‘Uplands Manual’ habitat classification and Flora (Protection) Order, 2022 species identification and conservation. We also provide expertise in Ecological Impact Assessment and Appropriate Assessment.
