Operating since 2006, Five Oceans Salvage is an international salvage, towage and wreck removal contractor, based in Greece and operating worldwide. The substantial investment in anchor handling and salvage tugs and equipment, both in actual terms and planned, ideally places FOS to operate worldwide assisting the shipping and the offshore oil and gas industry. In particular, FOS can assist in all types of casualties, whether with its own tugs and equipment or with subcontracted resources through its worldwide network of contacts. In 2012, FOS established an owned salvage equipment depot in Athens that includes electric, pneumatic and hydraulic portable salvage pumps, hoses and appurtenances, antipollution equipment, generators, compressors, tools and various other salvage equipment and material. Everything is packaged in standard air freight containers ready for immediate dispatch worldwide. FOS is committed to providing professional salvage services and is a dedicated supporter of the Lloyds’ Open Form system, being one of its most frequent users.
