Fjara Press
Founded in November 2015 as Richard Brink Books, Fjara Press have been focussed on bringing high quality fiction and non fiction quickly to market, in an easily accessible way. Our fiction output is exclusive to Amazon, via KDP, and currently covers nine books, six of which have been fiction. Five of these are set in the Nordic countries - Iceland, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden - and are collected together as our "Nordic Shorts" range. Our fiction newest release - A Strange Charm - is set in the abstract, and has been released in October 2018. Our non-fiction output is focussed on our blog brand, ifpercundis.com: we publish three blogs every weekend, looking at such diverse topics as Film, Society, Travel, Well-being and the Self. We have a dedicated base of followers, which is growing by the week, and a strong social media presence. We are currently serialising a novel, called Ex Percundia, across 75 weeks, with publication expected in late 2019. The purpose of ifpercundis.com is to avoid easy reading. To this end, its blogs are often steeped in magical realism and storytelling; they are often dark, dealing with explorations deep in to the human construct.
