Flamigo

flamigo (from the english flat and spanish amigo) is a flat-sharing platform. Our vision is not only to become students’ and youngsters’ go-to platform in order to cover their housing expenses, but also to form an active online community. Many students and youngsters have a hard time making ends meet, and that is a problem that intensifies due to financial hardship and constantly rising rent prices. flamigo aims at facilitating the process of flatmate searching through unique filters and keywords, as well as a gamified personality test. Users create a personalized profile, submitting their personal info and preferences, and consequently post a flat sharing “quest” thread. The main purpose is to split their expenses and find people, not only to share their space, but also their way of living.
