Flamo foundation Seek to develop a farming business that could provide revenue to serve a mission of supporting and educating orphaned and vulnerable children Mission statement:"To ensure that adequate care and support is provided to both orphans and vulnerable children, abandoned by parents and families, and assisting such children to be educated and trained so as to be successful and useful members who can contribute productively to their societal development." Flamo foundation aspires to support orphans and vulnerable children by building a free school and introducing extracurricular programs that teach life skills. To expand financial self- sustaining activities such as providing structure for children to get involved in farming activities, to learn agricultural skills and entrepreneurship skills that can feed their bodies and their education. For children who lack access to a stable place to come, we will provide a place for them to have stability and educational opportunity. Flamo foundation is aware that Orphans face abuse and neglect by caregivers or guardians and are often discriminated against within the household. This can have consequences in terms of their physical and psycho-emotional development. In addition, many children are not supported economically to stay in school or to have their basic needs met, which can diminish their already limited number of opportunities. Despite the scale of the problem, there is very limited evidence of services or programs to support these children.
