Fleming Pre Primary School

Fleming Pre-Primary and Fleming Early Learning Centre are 3 term, co-educational, pre-primary schools catering for pupils aged 18 months to 6 years on two separate properties. Fleming Pre-Primary was started in 1986 by Lecia Fleming and caters for children from the ages of 3 to 6 years. It has been in existence in its current location since 1994. The 6 classrooms are well equipped and have access to the lovely garden. The grassed playgrounds provide many opportunities for large muscle development, sand play, water trough activities and games. The school has a solar heated swimming pool for summer classes. It also has a library which fosters a love for reading and a small computer room where iPads are used to enhance concrete learning. Fleming Early Learning Centre began in 2016 and caters for children from 18 months to 3 years of age in a small, nurturing environment. The 2 classrooms are well equipped and vibrant and lead out on to a well- established garden and age- appropriate play area Fleming Pre-primary and Fleming Early Learning Centre are committed to the provision of quality pre-school education. We believe that meaningful, happy learning experiences in the early years will provide a child with a sound foundation for future education. The schools are situated in the educational nucleus of Craighall Park in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. They are privately owned and are registered with the Gauteng Department of Education the Independent Schools’ Association of South Africa and the relevant local authorities. The schools are easily accessible from the business areas of Hyde Park, Sandton, Rosebank and Randburg. At Fleming Pre-Primary the needs of the modern two-career family are taken into account through the provision of quality after-school care and extra-mural activities. Should there be enough demand, holiday care is provided.
