Fletcher Machine Industries

For over 50 years, the Fletcher name has stood for quality and dependability in the custom woodworking machinery industry and beyond (including machines that work on PVC and a variety of other plastics and wood composite materials). From the early concept of shaping and sanding on the same machine to the complex machines we see today, Fletcher continues to be an innovator. Each Fletcher machine is manufactured to a customer’s specifications and flexibility is key to our success. If you want “cookie-cutter,” you’ve come to the wrong place. Virtually everything, excluding electronics and electronic components, are produced in-house, in Lexington, North Carolina. While this is not the trend in today’s “outsourcing” mindset, it provides consistency and control, and results in quality time after time. Our products range from simple feed-through machines used by cabinetmakers to produce cabinet doors … to state-of-the-art CNC controlled systems that provide the most complex machining operations needed by large manufacturers requiring multiple operations. Single- and double-end machines utilize our proven carrier systems that ensure parts are held securely while operations are performed. We market the only American-made edge bander, available as a single-end or double-end machine, with the capability to create solid wood banded panels and machine the bands. Our edge banders are built using the same frame as our tenoners and foilers. This style of machine has proven to be extremely accurate and dependable over many years of service. They are not “throw-away” machines. Fletcher’s commitment to quality and innovation means the products we bring to market are the very best. Our machines are first class and are supported with the best replacement parts. If we do not have a part in inventory, we will produce it. We are known for never creating a component that has become “obsolete.” Compare that fact with any other machinery supplier. Service after the sale is an absolute must. Our service technicians are well-trained and know the value of each Fletcher machine to the overall production needs of the company that owns it. We will make every effort to keep our customers’ production running. Our machine shop, diamond tooling and our rubber products departments produce the very best in components for not only Fletcher machines, but for competitive machines as well. We have the capability of producing parts that a customer’s initial supplier possibly cannot currently provide. Built like we mean it. That’s Fletcher.
