In 2015, the Float Sixty concept was born and launched its first a modern wellness studio in Chicago. Now with multiple locations, the Float Sixty concept has facilitated over float therapy (aka sensory deprivation), cryotherapy and infrared sauna sessions to a database of over clients with a portion being recurring members. Float Sixty is positioned as an industry leader in this health and wellness category and has been featured on Fast Company, CNN, ABC, CBS, PBS, Fox Sports, Crains Chicago Business as well as several blogs, travel sites and news outlets. We are active with two Chicago business and technology incubators, 1871 and Matter. Atomic Theta is a technology project that correlates biometric markers to the modalities of meditation and floating. Float Sixty was recently nominated for the prestigious Chicago Innovation Awards as well as the Goldman Sachs Small Businesses program. Our founder is a technology executive by profession in the field of data integration and analytics and was featured on the Crains Chicago Business Notable Entrepreneur list in 2019 and 2020 and a finalist for Northwest Indiana’s Influential Women Award in 2019 and 2020.
