FLORA MIRANDA is a pioneering fashion designer and artist based in Vienna and Antwerp. She develops her work with new technologies such as 3D scanning, 3D printing, laser cutting, machine learning and generative design. In 2018 Flora Miranda launched the format IT PIECES: Generative design systems. With IT Pieces she remodels the design-production-distribution-sales-consumption process of garments. IT PIECES is more than an impactful concept to create individualized garments. It opens up a whole new conversation about the power of creative thinking: the ability to perceive reality from an inspiring viewpoint, informed by art, emotion, and even irreverence.
