WHO WE ARE Originating as a daydream, FLORAL SEA (stylized as FLORAL SEA) is an American contemporary luxury fashion house, conceptual lifestyle brand, and multidisciplinary design studio based in sunny Austin, Texas The company was founded in Spring 2019 by designer and artistic director, Tenille West, with the mission to exhibit a new point-of-view in Austin's local fashion scene informed by artistic expression, individualistic style, and a cross-cultural presentation of Black Latinidad. MISSION The FLORAL SEA collection is a full range of entry-luxury clothes, shoes, jewelry, handbags, fashion accessories, and childrenswear colorfully dreamt, designed, and handmade to order in a home studio based in Downtown Austin. The brand's signature aesthetic exhibits a new reality of fashion characterized by the intricate use of floral imagery and motifs inspired by Afro-Puerto Rican culture, childhood nostalgia, and vivid dreams of an alternate universe filled with Color. Color. Color. FLORAL SEA’s conceptual presentation of Black-Latine culture transcends universal boundaries, inviting everyone to style and wear our one-of-kind pieces as part of their daily fashion routine while embracing their individuality. The brand is counteracting the existing culture and aesthetics of today's sustainable fashion movement pioneering a new standard where fashion is a canvas for cultural dialogue, art-making, and individualistic expression.
