Welcome to FLORESTA in Malawi, a proud member of the Plant With Purpose Global Partnership. We're dedicated to reversing deforestation and poverty by transforming the lives of rural communities. At our core is the mission to restore relationships—between people and one another, and with their creator. Our holistic approach involves sustainable agriculture training, land restoration, savings-led microfinance, and spiritual development. Through our signature Watershed Model, we holistically transform the lives and land of farming communities, emphasizing environmental restoration, economic empowerment, and spiritual renewal. Our journey is just beginning, with a focus on key watersheds in the Viphya Plateau region of northern Malawi—addressing steep terrain, deforestation, and poverty. Initial efforts will commence in select watersheds in the Nkhatabay district before expanding to other regions.
