When Reese brought his girlfriend Madeleine back home to Australia from London for a holiday she spent as much time as any self-respecting Brit would at the beach. While sun-baking one lazy afternoon she casually said “I really wish I brought a pillow with me…” Fast forward 9 months and Flotsam was born out of endless re-designs, samples and testing in order to create the world's most comfortable beach towel. Complete with a matching and removable inflatable pillow the Flotsam towel is the perfect combination of style, comfort and practicality. When the pillow is deflated the case acts as a bag to keep the towel in, and when it’s inflated and attached to the towel it seamlessly forms one elegant design… almost like it was always meant to be there. Unlike cheaper 200GSM microfibre towels, Flotsam towels are a mighty 350GSM which makes them thicker and more absorbent - while still drying much faster and being more lightweight than any cotton towel. Madeleine finally used that design degree from Central St. Martins to create bespoke designs that combine dreamy escapism with a love of print.
