Flowell Operations
Precipitation in paraffin is caused by the extra carbon atoms that are attached to the molecule. The greater the number of carbon atoms the higher the pour point of the crude oil resulting in heavy precipitation. FloWell detaches these extra carbon atoms returning the molecule to its original basic state and once these carbon atoms are detached they cannot reattach. An experiment at a refinery where a sample of bunker fuel was treated with a small amount of FloWell turned a black, shoe polish type condition into clear liquid paraffin within which particles of carbon were flocculating together. This was a clear indicator that the detachment of the carbon atoms was how FloWell works and how it becomes a permanent solution.
